Clarion Unveils New Film About
the Threat of Radical Islam in America
at National Press Club

The Clarion Fund announced today that it will premiere its newest documentary film, The Third Jihad, at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 . In addition to the screening, several American Muslim groups have been invited to participate in a roundtable discussion where the film's narrator, Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser -- a devout Muslim and chairman of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (AIFD) -- and its producers will speak out about the threat of radical Islam in America.

Clarion's first documentary film, the award-winning Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West, communicates the global threat posed by the radical elements of Islam.

The Third Jihad shifts the focus to the growth of radical Islam on American soil via "Cultural Jihad," the use of the democratic system to transform the American way of life from within to a society governed by Sharia Law (Islamic religious law).

"Clarion Fund recognizes the propagation of radical Islam and the promulgation of Sharia Law within our borders as a clear and present crisis affecting the Muslim American community and the American public at large," said Peter Connors, Executive Director of Clarion. "Our educational tools and media properties will serve as a platform for the American public -- including Muslims -- to embrace Western liberties and speak out in a meaningful way to silence radical elements in our midst."

Among these tools is RadicalIslam.org, the foundation of Clarion's grassroots movement. The user-friendly website was developed to spread awareness about the threat of radical Islam in America as well as to provide practical response tools.

"We are focused on educating the American public about this eminent threat to their rights and freedoms, with the goal of bringing 'Creeping Sharia' to a screeching halt," explained Raphael Shore, producer of both The Third Jihad and Obsession and the founder of Clarion. "We want to expose the true intent of radical Islam in order to secure the future of the American public at large, including its Muslim community."

Among those organizations invited to participate in the roundtable discussion is the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). However, CAIR has declined the invitation, a surprising turn of events considering the group's usual insistence that a representative of their "mainstream Muslim" staff be present at such events to offer a "balanced perspective." In fact, since the beginning of 2009, CAIR has requested such representation in at least three U.S. events focused on radical Islam.

"We invited CAIR and they said they wanted nothing to do with this film," said Connors. "CAIR's response is unfortunate, as The Clarion Fund believes that the only way to address this issue is to discuss it openly and honestly with those who agree with us and those who disagree. Then, based on that education, the American public can decide for itself." (Clarion Fund, 10 May 09)

Wow, this is very eye opening and scary. This war in the middle east probably won't be the half of it. I'm 18 but damn, I need to start having kids.

Would it be wise to use Scribd's Flagging system to try and get this removed??? Hateful/Offensive is one of the options for user to flag and get it removed.

It's refreshing to see they have a section in Hate Magazine focused on Health.

Agree it's hate and we should engage to get this pulled for the site. Are you wired in there?

I agree that the site/magazine is hate-filled and offensive, but it is an example of the efforts of the Islamic fundamentalist to infilitrate Western culture, i.e. "The Threat of Radical Islam in America."
Awareness of the jihadist efforts is crucial in countering those efforts.
I used the magazine as a tool to gain a better understanding of the radicals' motives and tactics. While it may be offensive, it can also be useful. I understand, however, why some may wish it to be removed. I meant no disrespect in posting the link - merely posted for educational and awareness purposes.

I have no Problem with Research material like this. I think the comment on this was meant as an attempt to get it removed from the web. You are right you need to know the enemy to kill the enemy. These people are so complex in their hate you have to study a lot to get into their warped heads.

Anything to help in the process of removing them from our earth and helping them meet their maker on their way down to the rest of those idiots.

I'll go out on a limb and say that there won't be another 9/11 - because they learned their lesson.

9/11 set their agenda back significantly.

In my Opinion Americans are like my young kids are. They are easily distracted and can not maintain focus on what is in front of them. Like they are all ADD. Maybe we need to give them all Riddlin so they can focus and see the Radicals that are there. We need to get them to drink the Reality Cool Aid. :rolleyes: Also we are a people that Believe in Freedom of religion and because of that they are in denial that a religion or people in a religion would do radical things like they have been doing here.

Yes it will take another major act of terrorism to open their eyes and allow people to act and after a little time goes by again they will loose focus and deny that we need to fight them with all the tools there are out there. They will want to all hold hands and sing KumBayYa again and hug. That is what they have become.

I completely agree, but what's even scarier to me than the general populace’s inability to grasp that radical Islam is a threat due to their ADD, is the fact that the administration seems very attune to the fact that the populace has ADD and is using that knowledge to shield their intentions as they push their agenda. The fact that they are effectively using the Jedi mind trick with their successive crisis’s scares the crap out of me. They talk a good game and most of the people are just drinking the cool aide even though what they say often times doesn't match what they display with their actions.
