I thought that pyromania was an automatic DQ for SF.

I thought what the kid is doing is against the law.

Solid 06-30-2004 13:18

That's up there with the kid who built a nuclear reactor in his garden shed...

I guess someone didn't take the 'don't try this at home' warning seriously...

Jack Moroney (RIP) 06-30-2004 13:49

This guy reminds me of one of the folks we cross trained to make improvised demolitions-specifically a molded incendiary. The boy made the Alice bricks okay and then got a brain cramp when he decided that perhaps he could use the stuff in his BBQ grill. Having paid half attention to the training he realized that it needed to be ingnited with a thermite mixture but forgot that the stuff burned at 4000 deg and can't be extinquished once lit. Fortunately the grill was in the back yard and not on his deck or in the parking lot at a tail gate party. I wonder if these two idiots are related.

Future Darwin award winner.

Someone needs to take that kid fishing before he takes a loaded weapon into school or becomes the poster child for a burn center.

Moved to comedy because this kid is a joke at best and destined to be an example of stupid human stunts.

I laughed so hard, I peed my pants. Still wiping tears from my eyes.

Amateur hour.

I have it on good authority that a pair of SCUBA Tanks (one for compressed air and one for thickened fuel) with rated fuel lines work much better.

That kid is going to mess himself up. Wonder how he discovered that gasoline would melt PVC?

Yes, he is. Home Alone: Adolescence Unleashed - opening soon in a theater near you. This sounds like the young man who wanted to know which of his action figures would be most likely to melt in fire. He found out in a supervised experiment.
