It's Here!

I am now the very proud owner of William Harsey A/F #003! Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!

Thank you Mr. Harsey and thank you for going the extra mile.

Well Dammit...go stab someone and take a pic of that beauty in action Doc. :D

Congrats, although I would have thought you would have waited for 007 for morethan one reason. LOL

Concur.

Congratulations, amigo, use it in good health. I do not believe that it will ever let you down.

Sac, who do you think has 007?

Great News! Your way more than welcome! For those just tuning in, this is no. 003 A/F in CPM S-30V steel, same steel we use in the Yarborough knife, the reason for using the S-30V is better edge holding by about 25% and about three times the prybar strength of the old 154CM which was the best we could get until recently. I've made many hundreds of A/F Combat fixed in the 154CM steel begining in 1984. Now that NDD has his knife, I might go fishing.

Sir, I believe that the knife comes issued with a bag of quickclot and a compression bandage. LOL

Sacamuelas 06-17-2004 14:36

NDD-

What sheath came with it? I doubt the desert pattern is your first choice. Did you go with a kydex type sheath or an old school custom leather or canvas rig?

NousDefionsDoc 06-17-2004 14:55

LOL - Man, I am SO PSYCHED!

This mother is RAZOR SHARP. I can't wait to do minor surg with it. Mr. Harsey, thanks for the warning before, without it, I could have very easily touched blade to skin.

Sheath, there's a sheath? Man, Saca, that's like getting a date with Raquel Welch in her prime and worrying about what brand of bra she wears! LOL

Is came with a 3 color kydex (because I couldn't wait!). Kydex is very easy to paint, but I've been waiting for this so I had time to get another sheath. I have a Spec Ops Brand nylon with kydex insert in OD. Very nice, but I bought the long one and the short one would have done better. Good - An excuse to buy more panties for my new baby. LOL

The bag of Quickclot and compression bandage isn't a bad idea! Maybe design a sheath that will hold it all. Haha.

Colonel, this blade is so clean and sharp, tetanus wouldn't dare.

I had a FARC guy on hold for the test, but as soon as he saw the maker's mark, he broke loose and ran away. Now I've got to climb that damn hill again and catch me another one. It won't take long.

I wish I was back in the days when everybody carried a big knife or sword on them all the time. Its a fookin' crime not to be able to wear this work of art with a suit and tie out and about town.

MAN! What a great thing!

My Brother, welcome to the club.

Now I have someone else who knows why I am smiling like that.

I finally got the Spec Ops Combat Master short sheath for it. It fits like it was made for it. Good pairing.
