Found this picture on MP.net, in the AK_pic thread. The poster grabbed the pic from Flickr.

I asked him if he had a story with the pic,, he doesn't.

So,, "Who am I???"

I don't know,, but I'm thinking AP photo op or something along those lines..

Observation(s):

1)The feet,, & sandals,, that's everyday long haul,, not off duty
2)The shalwar(sic) & kameez(sic) in baby blue, up-scale but local
3)Rain gear,, older model Patagonia Ice Field Jacket, 400 USD
4)No beard or pakol, not local nor Muslim
5)The barrel on the AMD-65 ia about 14 inch long, his forearm, knuckle to elbo looks to be 15-17 inches, which puts him at maybe 5'10" to 6'1"??
6)North-East Asian decent,, maybe ROK, Chinese, Manchurian, or Japan
7)Shiite-eaten-grin,,, Priceless...

Any guesses???

Possible photoshopped? If so maybe a "mil-sim", airsofter?

He seems rather clean to have been in the field for any length of time. No dirt at all on his clothing.

I thought he looked far Eastern, Chineese perhaps.

I have no idea who he is.
