I wonder if CPTAUSRET has any comments about #6 (gunships)?

Mack states that #1 is within the last 50 years, but I remeber reading somewhere that in WWII the US was cranking out 1 DD every 3 days. That's incredible! (where's Sarah Purcell? ).

I was just thinking that a motivated troop with a rock could be more effective than someone with a rifle.
