Compensated Glocks

Any of you guys have one of these? What has been your experience with them? Generally, I don't find any issues with the recoil of the non-compensated Glocks, even the 21 (.45 Cal), which I own. But, I'm interested in what you guys think of them. What level of improvement do you get in recoil.

B:

Basically, a match pistol, since (based on my experience) port flash with most ammo would ruin any tactical or low-light employment.

I find that the recoil with most Glocks is pretty mild anyway.

I checked this out some before, I guess it depends on what you are using it for.

In a close in fight, I would be careful of holding it too close to the body when firing. :o

I have fired the 19C. From a chick's perspective, I prefer it to uncompensated Glocks as far a it is more accurate. I still could care less about the recoil, I can shoot a 1911 more accurately than I shoot my Beretta (although I AM improving with it). Of course, the Beretta takes more work out of the box to get it to shoot well in itself, while the majority or 1911's are much better. At least Kimbers are, IMHO.

Sir...Don't waste your money!

Unless you are shooting competition....I wouldn't either bother.

There is entirely to much you can do to a non-compensated Glock to worry about the others.

I recently acquired a Glock 21.

Are there any mods any of you have made to yours that would improve it?

Hehe. Got a 1991, but am getting rid of it. Enjoy shooting and can shoot more accurately with the Glock.

Follow LR's advice....but seeing how you already have the Tactical Tupperware check out Robar Guns . They can do grip reductions, a new finish (something that won't rub off from holster wear), and a decent trigger.

If you don't want to fork out the cash for a Robar remodel. Atleast change the disconnector to a 3.5lbs trigger stop I have heard good things about thesehttp://www.lonewolfdist.com/stockdet...item=GHO-2105A Get a good armor to do your trigger job don't do it your self unless you have worked on glocks before.

I'm also a big fan of the Novak night sights.

Then once you get all said and done customizing your glock you will find that it is still not as fun to shoot as a 1911
:D

Seriously though Lone Wolf Distriburtors, and Glockmeister have all the mods you could think of for a glock.

Yes, tie a good bowline, loop it through the trigger guard and next time you go fishing throw the whole mess overboard for use as a boat anchor. I’ve heard the Glock trigger pull alone will stop most Chinese Warships in their tracks.

I have two Glock 19s. One here, one in the FOB. .45s are basically impossible to get permits for and there's NO ammo. I try to live by the G's rule of never have anything you wouldn't walk away from in 30 minutes. There are three things I have that I can't drop in a half hour - the Glocks ain't on the list.

The FOGs are just mean...
