Johns Hopkins prof on McNeil Lehrer right now. Actually seems reasonable. Anyone familiar with this guy? I'm thinking about seeing if he has any books out. Jimbo?

I'm not familiar with him. I am halfway through a certificate program at Hopkins' grad school. This summer, I'm enrolled in:
Terror as Political Opposition: The Secular and Religious Foundations of Militant Islamism

and

Islam and American Foreign Policy

and he not the professor for either.

I've read him in Foreign Affairs and I've seen him on TV a lot.

I believe he is usually read in juxtaposition to Edward Said.
