Any 18B's out there???

Just looking for some advice from guys who completed the bravo course, things i should look out/be prepared for, also if you care to share any experiences, thanks!

You're already a NO-GO at this station.

OsaBoy5,

I would suggest you sit back and read, a lot.

Before you attempt the Bravo course you'll have to pass SFAS etc. And that all depends if you score high enough on the ASVAB to start with.

Tell you what you pass basic training, infantry school, Airborne school, SFAS, and Phase One and we'll give you some tips on Phase two. Until then feel free to read and refrain from posting.

OB5, just curious, are your standardized test scores high enough to get into SF?

Isn't everybody?

When you do the pile test, see how far you can launch the spring of a .45 pistol. If you can hit the balckboard, you get an extra 2 minutes to complete the test.

Damn! It was funny as hell when I saw Gilbert Harris take an M60 drive spring and rod to the forehead...the thing knocked him on his butt, but it bounced back into the receiver. He passed because, "technically" he didn't lose control of the part! :o
