handgun question

Hey guys and gals im trying to hunt down a weapon, its a hand gun platform that shoots i belive 223 on a necked down 10mm casing the word botz or bozt comes to mind anyone heard of it?

Bravo1-3 07-23-2006 19:49

The .224 BOZ. An answer to a question nobody asked in my opinion. I haven't heard anything about it since it was unveiled a few years ago.

Thats it man sir your good, Im looking for one. were'nt they made to go though kevlar vests after the hollywood thing with the bank robbers?

Good luck finding one. The company that made it doesn't even talk about it on their site anymore. As I recall, the Glock they wildcatted it from was about 11" OAL when completed. Might as well buy yourself a big bore wheel gun at that size. You won't have the problem of finding brass for it either.

Boy thats true on the big bore sir, but it sure would be fun to shoot the BOZ if i remember right didnt that little thing travle at 2600 fps?.

A friend of mine has an STI chambered in .224 Boz, 1 of less than a dozen made if I recall. His is configured like an "open" gun with a red dot optic. it's hell on canteloupe and such, and kinda cool, but far from practical.

Good times,
Blake
