Glock Shooters

What mag pouches are you using? The DBTs don't work so well for Glock. No Blackhawk please.

dr. mabuse 07-12-2006 17:53

Are you seeking a civvie or SF response NousDefionsDoc?

NousDefionsDoc 07-12-2006 17:59

Anybody that shoots a Glock. Nylon pouches, belt mounted. For Glock 17.

dr. mabuse 07-12-2006 18:01

Haven't found one that I really like, but for a 21. :(

hi NDD,
(warning: civvie user)
i'm using a pouch i designed myself to suit my own needs and it's manufactured and sold by EMDOM USA. my biased writeup of my own pouch with all the details:
http://www.militarymorons.com/equipm....html#emdom6o4

and where to get it from:

NDD,
I use bladetech kydex that hold well. Never lost a mag running around, etc. Also have a few leathers from gunnersalley.com from Don Hume that hold great and aren't as 'low profile' as the bladetech.

I use Comp-tac kydex pouches and are pretty good for everyday carry.

I'm not a glock shooter anymore but I know hordes of guys who like these. One of the guys is a well respected member of this board ;) (but he doesn't shoot a glock either).
http://www.eagleindustries.com/mainprod.asp?scv=0 Crap it won't let me link directly to the pouch. See the below photo. Product code is "DUTY MAG POUCH FB STYLE (DMP-2-FB)"

MM,

Somedays I really hate you. :D
Nice looking pouches I think I'll pick a set up.

NousDefionsDoc 07-12-2006 19:21

I wetted them down and stuffed the mags in them, we'll see. The MOLLE ones I have have loosened up quite a bit in a couple of weeks. Would have been nice to know they weren't designed for Glock mags before I ordered them. Buyer beware I guess.

LOL - not my fault Brah. I looked at those, but they only come in black unless special order - this year's color is RG, black is so 1980s...LOL
Carver makes great kit and those are the ones we had back in the day.

Thanks Joe.

If they have the hard inserts, I do not like them.

I prefer the Eagle soft sides, Paraclete's, Eggroll's version, or the Blade-Tech.

Holy crap MM, who are you scared of? LOL

I like the looks of it, looks like it might stick out a bit? How are you attaching it, MALICE clips? I'm looking for one to mount on a duty belt. Nice design. Well done.

NousDefionsDoc 07-12-2006 19:32

Boss,
They aren't really hard. I would call them more stiff. They call it DETLOC or some such. It's not hard like the Eagles.

Smokin Joe 07-12-2006 19:32

LOL-no worries NDD its an Eagle Ind. thing.

You know Krylon always fixes the color issue. :D Or have your stitch bitch work up a copy.

TR,

I believe they are the soft sided ones. I agree with you, I don't like the hard shelled ones either.

NousDefionsDoc 07-12-2006 19:41

I don't take the stitch bitch things to copy. I have my own designs made or I buy it from US dealers.

I've learned about buying certain kit from down here - the "made in the USA" label still means a lot - both in quality and spirit.
