Vehicle Escort

2 Attachment(s)
When I was in Iraq (Military), we would run our vehicle (3~4 vehicles) escort in a straight line (One vehicle behind the other)

PSD (i.e. ), would run their vehicle escort in an off-site pattern.

Does anyone know why they use this formation?
What is the Tactical Purpose of this formation?
Pros? Cons?

Thank you

When I was in Desert Storm we didn’t use mall security guards to escort vehicles.

We do not discuss current operations or tactics employed by the US military on this board.

First post and BANNED, have a very SF day.
