The passing of Mike Donatelli
 

I just read this on the Green Beret Challenge Facebook page.

"7th SFG brothers and brothers from 1st RGR BN, I just got word that brother Mike Donatelli was killed yesterday while filming a new discovery channel show he was participating in. Mike was residing back in his hometown of Indiana, Pa. I do not have any info on the arrangements as of yet. I will be heading there today and will update accordingly. Speechless... Mike was a very close friend and very important person in my life... Keep his family in mind during this difficult time."

I am sorry for your loss. Mike and his family will be in our prayers.

What!? Mike was a good friend of mine. Didn't know this happened. That really sucks!:(

I knew Mike since 1988 when he got out of Ranger Bat. There are a lot of guys out there that learned how to box (actually, how to get punched in the face repeatedly) by him. He was a good guy and even though in our line of work we go years, decades sometimes, without seeing one another, I will miss that son of a bitch.
