Keg at Charlie Mikes,,,,,

Saturday the 20th of Feb I will have a keg of Blue Moon on tap at Charlie Mikes in celebration of graduating the Q Course for the second time. I will proudly walk the graduation stage friday at 39 years young, and thereby complete my midlife crisis.

There will NOT be a third time,,,,, ( My feet still hurt from Frost Nip,,)

All in all I have to report that the Q Course of today is nothing like the training I received back in 1995. I have to take my hat off to the instructors, cadre, and contractors that have gone over board to train a better brighter Q Course grad. The Q is much better than before, and I hope it continues to improve.

Oh! And I almost forgot,,,,,,

You should see the nifty little blade I was issued!!!!!!!

Snaquebite, I'm planning on 7 or 8'ish. That way if any of the 18x's have a curfew they can still show up and get home by nine.

And Dennis, I'm headed back to 3rd.

XJWoody 02-18-2010 10:49

Congrats Sir!

C0B2A 02-18-2010 10:55

Adding my little Congradulations Sir!!! Thank you for your continued service!

Holly:)

Stras 02-18-2010 19:37

Well done!!!!!

It's about time you stopped loafing around and got back to doing real work.

I won't make Sat night due to a prior committment, but i'll take a rain check on beers at CM's.

Not sure how my bike knows to stop there on the way home from work.. But somehow it just makes that left turn into the parking lot.

I guess the cadre overlooked all the contraband that we sent you at Robin Sage. :+)

Hey Rob,
Sorry I couldn't make it. Got "distracted" early in the evening. :D
I'm sure a good time was had by all especially if the "Old Man" LR'47 was there...

x SF med 02-21-2010 11:06

Congrats...

Is the correct term of address "Sir Sergeant" or "the Officer formerly known as Sarge" ?

ah, yes... Pineland in the winter, a lovely place and season...

longrange1947 02-21-2010 11:55

George - You should have seen the "shoes" he was wearing. :D:D:D

blue02hd 02-21-2010 12:27

If hangovers are measures of success, we had a pretty darn good time! I really appreciate the kind words and acts of friendship from my respected brothers here. I had a few very nice surprises yesterday. I look forward to returning the favors.

LR, I'll have those "shoes" polished to a high sheen by the next time you see them.

Pineland in the winter time,,,,,,,,

Gypsy 02-21-2010 18:33

Congrats to you, Sir!
