Blade was an absolute blast! It was great to meet Mr. Harsey, Ambush Master, Blake, Piter, See2, M1, and some other brothers and sisters.

Bill Harsey 06-12-2007 19:33

On behalf of the entire CRK Team, thanks very much! It's a huge honor to be given so much notice for the very small thing we do for the QP's.

boy am I going to be careful wherever our Piter is, it doesn't take all day for him to pass on the intel. I hadn't even gotten my first adult beverage after the the awards ceremony and this was already posted here.

Team Sergeant 06-12-2007 20:32

The pic's are not the best but I decided not to use any flash during the event as that were the very special moments for everyone. It was an honor to be there with Anne, Tim, Bill, Dave and Perry of course. Thanks for these awesome moments and congrats to the winning team again!

Rogue 06-13-2007 11:57

x SF med 06-29-2007 10:07

Ok, like we expected anything less from Mr Bill and Chris? Congrats! the only disappointment is that Bill's not wearing his Thinking Cap in the awards pictures... guess it's reserved for shop use only.

Bill Harsey 07-02-2007 09:59

x SF med,
Thinking cap is for shop use only. Everytime I put it on it makes me want to study medical books, sail boats and chase cowgirls. It's dangerous.

x SF med 07-02-2007 10:16

Bill-
That means my job is done - the hat works and can now be mass produced! Saturday 7/7/07 there's a BBQ at the GunBoy's - he's going into pre 40 holding on Friday - should be fun, gonna make it? We're blasting down from our AO, 5 hours vs 15 minutes for you.

Will the Harsey make it?? Hope so. Thinking about marinated flank steak, some sort of seafood and possibly some crab stuffed mushrooms.
Anyone in the area is welcome to show up. Should be around 7pm. PM for directions.

Could you send me directions - I don't think I can get around all the Biblical names in the development you live in. :p And would you please put in a proposal to change the name of that damn city to "Bob" it would be much easier to spell.

What beer to bring, that is the question! The rum is still on ice - right? I'll pack one bottle of Svedka too, for Bloody Mary's Sunday am.

Jefe!! Pack up the Doc and join us in putting the GunBoy into his pre40 holding pattern.

HOLLiS 07-08-2007 11:06

I am not letting the cat out of the bag on the 5 star BBQ and who was the chef. I can varify X SF med Avatar is real and well, and also attended the feast.

More at eleven.

Pacific

Since this thread started, in part because of the award for the 1st Group Knife/Pacific at the Blade Show, I thought I would mention that I was lucky enough to be able to order mine at the show, with prototype in hand. My knife arrived yesterday, and it is GREAT! This blade feels really good in my hand, the quality is absolutely top shelf, and it looks as good as it feels.

I will be heading to FayetteNam soon to hand deliver my son's to him. Bill, while I am there I will get out on the line at Pope, in front of the Hog for that picture.

It truly is a great knife. I saw it at the show as well. Your son will really appreciate it I am sure. You might have him look at the Yarborough / Green Beret Knife plaque that Chris Reeve's sells foryour son to display his knife if it won't be a "user"

Don't yet know what he intends to do with it, but if he carries it as a duty knife he will have to get it past the AF ALSE guys. I'm pretty confident the supplied sheath will pass any ejection seat criteria they might have. In my day, a bottle of Jack would sufficiently grease the skids towards approval.

I'm doing the Eastman gun show in Atlanta this weekend, and have my Pacific in a display case (marked not for sale). It has already drawn quite a bit of attention during set-up tonight. Great blade!

Thank you very much.
Please give your son our best.

Tell me if there are any problems with the sheath and I'll pm you the list of who doesn't have problems.

Penn 03-02-2018 19:52

My Pacific arrived two days ago. I used a credit for a 9 inch Sikayo, which I returned due to how the knife fit my hand. imhoo, a chef knife must fit your palm like a glove. The Sikayo is a awesome chef knife. CR, was kind and professional enough to issue me a credit or full refund. I sat on the credit for a year or more.
When I did finally decide to pull the trigger, CR&Co delivered. Thank you CR& Co!!!!

The Pacific, strictly from a chef's POV and experience on breaking down side of beef, boning out lamb legs, etc,. this knife was not made with that purpose in mind, but it would effortlessly accomplish the task, in the palm of your hand the Pacific leaves no doubt with regard to respect, its a first class weapon, from point to hilt.

HaveBlue 06-03-2018 11:41

Mr. Harsey Congratulations!! That is one good looking knife!
Needs a "Harsey" script though.

And, Thank you for not making a "flipper".
