My company likes to do fun - sometimes silly - things for the employees. This week we are having Olympic games (yes a bit late...lol)
They kick started the week with a Breakfast for Champions. Cheesy scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage and pancakes. Pretty tasty actually. My event is today...rubber band archery! I've been shooting at people and things all morning. :lifter :D Other events will include table top football, parts toss (think egg toss), company trivia and ping pong tournaments. |
Birthday
My youngest grand daughter was 2 yesterday, We celebrate with a party today.:)

Happy thought this evening...so far the tornado sirens in DT OKC have gone off 8 times in a couple of hours...and we are still here at ground zero of OKC Memorial, and only wind and hail.
Think they may be testing the DT batteries of the darn things. Ah well, weather in Oklahoma...it can be tricky! Holly:munchin |
Kansan's first tornado of the season 5/6/15. At 1:54 in the video you can see St. Johns Church where I was married. Like the church, our marriage has weathered some storms. Glad to report that both still standing strong. Towards the end is the church's cemetery.

Took my son out for our first run of the spring - 3.5 miles of father/son bonding time. I love getting to hear about things he's trying to figure out about life and talk about coming of age and expectations of him when he becomes a man.

Watching a 24 hour Bruce Lee marathon while eating gumbo all day as it rains outside.
Now that is a good day....:D |
Found a missing compilation CD of music at an Amazon link so I could use the 'smile' option ( = $ --> GBF ). MUCH needed rain arrived (don't have to muck with leaves), pot of coffee & fresh tubes in the amp.
Livin' large! :D |
