Hello All,

Not too much to say about myself, I guess that's why I'm here, to try and learn and maybe one day have something to say to people, or better give people something good to say about me.

I just want to learn as much as I can in order to become the best Soldier, follower, leader and American servant as I can.

Everyone calls me Trox.

Hello all,

I am a student and a drilling reservist, working part time at a gun store. Like many on this forum, I seek the honor of being selected and trained to join the ranks of the Quiet Professionals.

My desire to pursue SF training was sparked by my military experiences in Afghanistan and Mauritania. I had the opportunity to support a handful of combat missions, as well as take part in Foreign Internal Defense advising and training. These experiences built and further reinforced my respect for and desire to achieve such levels of competency.

I am proud of my service in the Army Reserve, but am now seeking the means to serve at a higher level. I have initiated the conditional release process to enlist active duty, and am training with my focus on being the best soldier I can be. I intend to be selected in my time, and regardless of the details of my future, I will continue to serve with honor.

This forum is a priceless source of information. Thank you to all who contribute, and to those Quiet Professionals who make this resource available!

I have never been in the military. I was a prosecutor in the FL Keys for several years and now am in private practice in S. Florida. I have family who were in army special forces. I represent many current law enforcement officers in a variety of employment and civil rights issues. I would like to learn more about special forces and I find the postings here generally of high quality.

A little bit about myself:

First and foremost, thank you for providing such a great forum from which to garner information.

I am currently serving in the US Navy as a Naval Officer. I'm stationed on a ship on the West Coast. I have only served for a few years, and I'm looking forward to serving a few more. I am actually the first in my whole entire family to serve in the US Military, and I am glad that I have been given the opportunity to do so (my family immigrated).

I am hoping to receive some guidance and mentorship from those who have gone before me about joining the SF community. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for providing this outlet

My name is Greg, I was assigned to 1/7 SFG(A) SIGDET 1 March 2006 and started terminal leave 9 August 2011. During my first OEF in 07 I spent the majority of my time at FOB ROB in the Sagin district, found a much better understanding of what SOF was all about and decided to go to selection. After that trip I was in a serious MVA which halted my aspirations of going for the long tab. I still have friends I talk to from 1/7 and miss the brotherhood from time to time. Good to be here, thanks for providing this outlet.

Current active duty Army. I'm not much of a talker on forums, but I look forward to learning from the QP's in the upcoming months as I make my way into the SF pipeline.

Good Afternoon Gentlemen -

I'm a 30 year old non-prior service equities trader. I will be enlisting rep 63 once I recover from a motorcycle accident I was recently involved in. Since I'll be putting my PT on hold, I will continue to research this site, along with other related material in order to mentally prepare for SFAS. Thank you for all your service and the advice provided on these boards.

Best Regards,

Mantis
