The admission is 5 cans of food goods, and this is donated to the local food pantry which helps famalies in need.

Very nice!

I had the honor of performing the first bone marrow harvest in our new children's hospital and taking a trainee through her first harvest. I was able to correct deficiencies in the harvest process that were a result of the transition to the new hospital and help teach proper technique to those coming after me.

One lucky woman is getting one hell of a Christmas present today - prayers out to her and her family, and heartfelt gratitude for the gifts, opportunity and privilege to help these patients.

That's huge. Thanks to you, and prayers for the recipient and her family.

Happy and Sad thought of the day is I just finished 11 great dives over the long weekend. Night dives, a deep B29 dive and many more.

House Painting

Helped my youngest select and move into a new house. Primary purpose was to aid him in finding a good solid place (I'm a retired Engr.).

Secondary (self-serving) purpose was to get son and 7 month old grand-daughter closer to Grandpa.

Within walking distance. :D

I'm happy that my physical fitness has improved by a large margin, even looking in the mirror I can see the difference. I recently worked out in some bad weather and felt so awesome with the scenery around me, was like the workout scenes in a Rocky movie. Only two months out until basic and I'm very excited for it.

Good job on the operation Doc.

My youngest son left for Basic on the 10th. He called me this weekend to report he was having a blast. Life is good.

Having a blast? So, exactly how did you raise that boy?

I have a feeling that basic training will not be a big deal for that lad.
