Ken,
I have completed the weapons course in the recent past and my only advice is that if you can learn the fundamentals of the cycles of operation, you will be lightyears ahead of your classmates. Also, always keep in the back of your mind that the way the Bravo Commitee sets up and runs ranges is EXACTLY what you must be able to do when training your indig. PT PT PT, 'nuff said. |

Well done guys. Take everything the QPs are telling you onboard and remember this, the assessment NEVER stops. You may have finished the selection portion but you will be assessed everyday by every QP until you quit, ETS or retire.

Selected 04-11
18E, NQP from the 3/20th. I already have native Spanish proficiency, and am wondering whether Russian or Arabic would be more helpful to the Group. I assume it would be Arabic but I would like to make the best-informed decision possible, and would be grateful for any information on the matter.

If you can show real language proficiency, why would you want a team to wait for you? Getting to a team should be your only goal, 25M at a time. Don't discount any language, all are needed, you'll do fine. If you're good, you'll serve on three to four teams in your career. If really good, you'll be a team dad, if not, that will be self evident. |
