I have ordered my copy and have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. As soon as I get it I will be sure to report back. Thank you Warrior-Mentor for the contribution and help for we candidates who are anxious for anything that could help us prepare for the tasks ahead.

STM,

Did you get it yet?

JM

P.S. Spoke with the Warrior Foundation on Monday, 22AUG.
We've now raised just over $9,800 towards the initial goal of raising $20,000 towards funding a scholarship.

Books are really starting to sell quickly now and we're almost half way there...

Only 10 more books until we hit the $10,000 mark!

Book

I am still eagerly awaiting my copy, I was told it was sent out last week on Monday 1st Class mail. I am getting jittery and the 3 mile Ruckmarching just isn't giving me peace of mind :D

Ok back to :lifter

Then why don't you simply increase your distance a little? You shouldn't need specific directions for that. Figure around 15 minutes/mile to determine the time limit (although you should shoot for better than that).

Roger that, I am working my feet up to it with some new boots(all I owned previously were steeltoe boots for work), I am making about 13:50 to 14:00 miles at the 3 mile distance with a 40lb pack presently. I am just jittery about the book in general because I really want to read it :D

I got my copy yesterday and read it last night. I am going to go back through now and complete the checklists, as well as possibly buying some of the supplementary reading that is recommended. It is exactly what I hoped it would be, and is written in clear, concise language. I highly recommend it.

I'm sitting on my hands here. I ordered the book a little over a week ago and its still a no show. "Patience is a virtue." I'll just keep on a-waitin'. Meantime, I'll keep spending quality time with the big green tick.

Because the books are shipped media mail, the normal delivery time is 7-10 days.
If you order on a Friday night, it can be a little longer (SOWF is closed Saturday and Sunday).

After a week waiting, call the Warrior Foundation to confirm they got your order and when they shipped it. Ask Dow or Sonny.

Best,
JM

Warrior-Mentor,
Sounds like you need to put your book on tape or cd so the guys can study while rucking.
I'm not trying to make a funny either.

I like that idea. For the mean time I've been listening to some spanish and german tapes trying to get my language skills back on par.
