My deepest sympathy go's out to the entire Moroney Family. If I was just browsing thru a thread that did not catch my interest. I would always pause and take the time to read a J. Moroney post, he will be missed.
RIP Sir.

Terribly sad news.

My thoughts and prayers are with Colonel Moroney, his family, his brothers in arms, and his friends.

I knew Colonel Moroney only through this forum. I was always inspired and humbled by his presence. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome here.

I'll never ever forget the nights and days of 11/05/07 thru 11/06/2007 whereby we talked about what he did in Vietnam. He sent me around a dozen photographs of the various AO's he served in and took the time to explain what I was looking at in each picture. Truely a man that was down to earth and one who cared very much about Special Forces back then and today day.
