I am a Gov. employee. That is all I can afford. I will be glad to purchase a few "off" brands following the ceremonial first drinks. LOL
Hell, RL could expense it to one of his big wig clients... How about it RL? And we can get CAPT to bring down some of he and Nancy's "collection" for private sampling in his brand new Vette. |

But if an event like this occurs and I am fortunate enough to be invited and attend, I will happily take on the role of one of the supply sergeants. And if I can characterize the attendees as potential clients, this will make my accountant very happy. |

In all of our best interests... I will modify my offer to purchase the one bottle of "fancy boy" scotch to read my purchasing many bottles of regular MAN bourbon and assorted liquors. AFter all, value for the money is important to this lowly Gov. employee. :D
RL- My household commander is currently on semi-permanent leave FROM WORK with the little ones for the forseeable future... no extra $$$ for me! LOL ***edited to clarify that I am not getting a divorce or currently separated...wife is just on leave from work. |

Or perhaps someone smarter than me could figure out how to post my schedule up, and I could meet up with some of you guys during my travels. Terry |

Have any of you tried this? I find it is a little sweet, but I am starting to acquire the taste for it too... (BTW- my new Milt Sparks Ex comp. holster came in this evening so it made it in the pic. :D SWEET!) |

Wow- I thought this forum was about 'edged weapons' and really everybody is talking about parties and scotch !
I may have to go back to the archives in the forums and see what other good converstions I have missed ! LOL BTW- I was in Heathrow in the early 70's after studying at a University in England. In duty free, I found a bottle of scotch named Bell's Scotch - Bell is my maiden name - and the bottle was in the shape of a bell, also. It disappeared and I don't know who in the family took it. (And for TS - I also made a pilgrimage to St. Andrews. My dad had been a golf pro before he passed away and coming from a family of golfers meant I better make it to St. Andrews or else find another place to live! LOL....Great-grandfather Bell was from Edinburgh. ) OK, gentlemen. I'll go back to lurking now. You all really do have some great conversations, though ! Roycroft201 |
