Things To Do:

1. Kill that irritating little Toto and get a Lab for a travelling companion
2. Organize the Munchkins into an effective UW force
3. Get those bad-assed flying monkeys over to our side (can you say private VSTOL air force with both lift and attack capabilities?)
4. Take over Emerald City
5. Party with Glenda

Razor,

I don't know what's scarier. That you know that much about Wizard of Oz, or that I actually agree with your plan of attack!

I'm with you, let's roll and get some better tunes while we are at it!

Van Halen, or AC/DC?

Brings a whole new meaning to 'working with the little people", huh? :)

I vote for VH, so long as I can add a little Disturbed and Rammstein now and then (nothing like angry German crunch metal to get the blood pumping).

To work:
Either a Kershaw Ken Onion Boa or a Spyderco Police Model.
Spyderco Co-pilot (Money Clip) opposite pocket.

MACVSOG Coin.

Cross Hardchrome Pen and Pencil Set.

Piece of 550 cord/w Nail clippers, Gripper brand tweezers, and 30+ year old P-38 tied in small Loop with larger loop on other end.

Small plastic Coin Pouch.

Vest or Jacket containing:
Daytimers Billfold/w credit cards DL, CHL, Personal Mini Phone Directory and of course a Month and Year Planner/Diary.

Emissive Energy LED/ 2X3v Lith Batt Flashlight.

Cell Phone.

Keys.

Phone Cards.

More Stinking Badges for the Airport and Facilities than you could Imagine !!

Edited to add: Luminox Titanium Wristwatch.

(Note here. Knives and other "Prohibited Items" ie nail clippers and the DEADLY P-38 are left in vehicle when I go inside the AOA !!)

Outside of work add the following:
Either a Kel-Tec P11 (Hardchromed) in a FIST K1/w I/O adapters Kydex Holster and 2 Mags, on opposite side, all carried IWB.
OR, A P-35 in a Milt Sparks Horsehide Versa Max 2 IWB and 2 Mags same as above. All of the above loaded/w Hydra Shocks.

(All Mags referenced above are in addition to fully charged weapon.)

That's all folks, unless I'm really anticipating trouble, then, all bets are off.

Off duty

Glock 23 in a Galco combat master holster
One extra mag and handcuffs in a Texas shoemaker cuff/mag holder
handcuff key with photon light combo.
Surefire 6p flashlight
cell phone
wallet with police ID, military ID, DL, assorted credit cards, and group coin.
G-shock watch

around neck.
Police star holder with my police star attached to it on a breakaway chain.

In vehicle.
1st aid kit, emergency supplies, and of course my PD pic radio for instant backup if needed.

At work it all depends on whether or not I'm working uniformed, plainclothes, or have a tactical call out.

Oops,
Sir, I carry a Gerber Multi tool (current issue in demo kit) with all my off duty stuff.

At work, on my gunbelt, I got a Leatherman wave and on my tactical gun belt I got a leatherman. On my vest, I got a little spyderco in case I got to cut though seatbelts and stuff.

When I'm with the army, I just strip my stuff from my locker and bring it with me to the army.

post deleted, dumb comment, we don't sprinkle Copenhagen on our pancakes in the morning here in Oregon, it's the granola.

NousDefionsDoc 05-22-2004 17:38

I thought it was a fine and funny comment.
