A very good friend just completed the selection course for the U.S. Marshals Special Operations Group. 60 folks started and 11 were selected after the one month course. There was never a doubt in my mind. :D

Ammo in the locker, fresh caught fish in the fridge and a wife who supports me in the manner in which I am accustomed.

I have always felt that everything after my 25th Birthday is a gift...

As there's not an "I am not bitter" thread...

A few weeks ago, a union representative gave me what he considered the most valuable tip he had to offer. "Do not say anything good about the union and don't say anything bad about the union."

So, I will now proceed not to say anything good about the union and not to say anything bad about the union.;)

I feel much better now.:D

Everybody's Graduating Something ...

A college classmate got selected, a few of my buddies just graduated Ranger, and another looks set to do the same in a few weeks (his gf just heard he made it to FL). :lifter

My happy thought of the Day

Kiowa's who check in right when you need that helping-hand. Like angels on your shoulder.

Nice graphic, not entirely accurate.

Looks like it was done off some optimistic pre-election projections.

Good intent anyway.

After two babies in two years, finally spent a day at the range with my beautiful wife. Just the two of us. Her first time shooting a rifle, too. Only thing better than seeing her bursting with anticipation on the way there was the utter satisfaction and signs of addiction she displayed on the way home ("Can we go back next weekend?!"). I'm sure her jaws are sore now after smiling so hard for so long.

Yet another part of life that we can enjoy together.

Seeing our second child born at the heels of the first. Welcome to a crazy world; my suggestion is to make your way over to the Be Prepared thread and take notes. For today we are going to start with The Night Eagles Soared and Philippians chapter 4. Mom and the babies are great. Dad is humbled.

Congrats TL! I'm glad to hear mom and babies are all doing well. Prayers and good wishes to you all!

I've got a set of twins myself - enjoy!
