This is interesting. During surgery, the doc also put a mesh device to prevent an aoritic anurism. Yesterday I got an ID card for it. Is this something that would set off alarms at TSA like the Pacemaker? If so, do I have to show all my device ID cards to travel? How about to vote? :D

Typically this is a Dacron mesh which will not set off any alarms.

The card will give someone who is familiar with that particular device the exact makeup and could better answer that question.
