RIP Jeremy
Jeremy was with my team last year in Mazzar-e-Sharrif Afghanistan. He was originally sent there to work for and maintain commo links for a Major who was our LNO in the north. They ended up living on my little firebase and I was able to steal Jeremy away from the Major and incorporate him into my team. As far as I was concerned, Jeremy was a member of the team until we all went back to the States.
Jeremy was a great troop! He quickly became one of us and it wasn't until his sudden early departure when he broke his ankle that we all realized that we may not get to work with him again. I will always be proud to say that I was his first Team Sergeant and his good friend. RIP Jeremy! God Speed! |
