Propitious timing here. I seem to have lost my 5 year-old Emerson CQC7 in a non-line of duty incident. Of course I am now naked and need a replacement. I am thinking the T2 Ranger.

Funny how karma has a way of letting you know when it's time to replace/move on.

Please advise if I can help.

My brother, I can heartily recommend the T2 or the Harsey Tactical folder.

I am also partial to the Chris Reeve Sebenza, which seems to be the Mercedes-Benz of folders, but it is pretty spendy.

I hate to believe that you are without any blades. Remember, if it is important enough to carry, two is one, and one is none. PACE.

Thanks Boss, but I'm fine.

I'm not bladeless, I have my HAK and my AF and my PS Leatherman. :lifter

I'm just without a GP working blade right now.

I've been looking at this T2 for a while, especially since you guys started raving about them. I've been carrying EKI for a long time, and maybe it's time for a change anyway.

I would order the T2 right now and think about reordering the CQC7 if you are not happy with it, or a spare T2 if you are.

I am sure that the designer would be happy to personalize it for you. :D

For a folder, I currently own and carry (at different times) a Large Sebenza, the Harsey Tactical Folder, a prototype Surefire Delta, and a pair of Benchmade Axis Locks. The Harsey is too big to go into a pocket and is for when I wear a sheathed folder. The Sebenza and/or the Delta are my usual pocket folders. My HAKs and Leatherman are in different categories from my pocket knives.

Right. The designer ;) is involved.

I think I will give the T2 a shot. I'm not really a Mercedes kind of guy. I like the one with the camo handle I think. I may wait a few days and see what this new version looks like.

What is this Surefire Delta? Perhaps a new thread would be in order about it . . . :munchin

LOL -- in my business, it's called "opening the door."

I understand the point. It obviously is an exciting concept, so the question was pretty natural to ask.
