In my endeavors as a student of revolutionary warfare ( I hope all in SF are) here are the two best books on how they actually do what they do. Both written in the 1950s and the last one was republished in 2014 because it was noted that revolutionary Islam is doing the same.

“A Century of Conflict” Communists Techniques for World Revolution by Stefan T Possony 1953

And

“The Organizational Weapon” A Study of Bolshevik Strategy and Tactics by Philip Selznick 1952, 2014

The first covers the growth of communism and how it is more flexible to take advantage of current social situations to be exploited. You will discover that the so called Hybrid Warfare by the Russians was actually developed after the 1928 6th communist Congress where they decided to join revolutionary warfare with conventional warfare. Remember this knowledge did not leak out of then Russians ears when the USSR imploded. The Chinese Unrestricted Warfare is just another evolution of revolutionary warfare.

The Woke in the military? That’s referred to as Antimilitarism and it is not to make pacifists but to win the military over to the side of the revolution. Remember WP has graduated communists.

The second one goes into how they infiltrate an organization, institutions or a society pillar to slowly challenge it , set up parallel hierarchies in it and then eventually take it over. Example: the educational system from K to university.
