The U.S. State Department has recently issued a new travel warning for Mexico. Areas such as Baja California Sur where the popular tourist destination Cabo San Lucas is, and Quintana Roo, where Cancun and Riviera Maya are located, have seen a spike in homicides this year.

Guess Cancun and Cabo are off the list for possible vacation sites. Last I heard, they were the only ones that were still safe. As the article states, it looks like Mexico is going to lose millions in tourist revenue. :(
