I'll second the pork shoulder recommendation for the DD. It also does evil things to rotisserie chicken.

LaRue is a great company. Every time I want a new toy I will hide the bottle and tell the wife we are out and the only way we can get more dillo dust is if I buy product x from Larue.

They overnighted me a shipping box and paid for return shipping, fixed it overnight (dropping in an upgraded trigger assembly at the same time for free), then overnighted it back to me. Last week, my BCG got knocked off the bench by someone else while I was cleaning my barrel at the range, bending the carrier key. They overnighted me an entirely new bolt and carrier and sent a return label for the damaged one. I have never had to ask for anything special and I haven't been charged for any of this - it is just how LaRue does business.

I get really tired of reading forum lurkers run them down because they chose to prioritize military and law enforcement orders when production was insufficient to meet demand.

No surprise there. I emailed at 1500 and received a brand new upper at 0900 the next day...before master Rick schooled me in prone vs bench and that there was nothing wrong to begin with. Im too embarassed to complain or ask them anything now. They've given me the RISR, POD, and Mark Fingar pulled a retaining pin from a demo PredatOBR to replace my worn one. Hard not to be a walking advertisement for Larue. I've used the dillo dustto great effect on turkey, burger, fries, baked potato, eggs, ramen, and the list grows

I'm glad to know the Cumberland SRT and the Bureau HRT use the formidable Larue OBR

Try the DilloDust on microwave popcorn. if you are eating the non-buttered popcorn. After you pop it open the bag shake into the bag to taste reroll the top of the bag and shake.

I add a little cayanne pepper to is when I use it for dry rub.

Mark LaRue is a class act. Now if he would just bring back LaRue range day.:munchin

I love the DilloDust, it's even better than Memphis's Rendezvous dry rub. It's always a hot commodity at the Force Recon reunions.

Racist......

What? Not woven into the fabric?

Stiletto11 03-05-2015 18:46

Is that "dillo dust" like Rhino horn? Better than Viagra?

What Peregrino meant there is if doesnt clover leaf with FGMM, M118LR or other match grade variant, it aint the rifle :D Hell, my OBR placed 5 to 10rds in 1 MOA center to center with 147gr surplus!

Yes, been there, done that :o...and was privileged to be coached and made better lead slinger by an SF sniper instructor out of the experience

Try the Dillo Dust on French Fries. I use it on just about everything at one time or another.
