Acquire a target, then slowly press the trigger to the rear while concentrating 100% on the acquired target. When the trigger breaks, continue pressing it to the rear until it stops, and hold it dead nuts throughout the entire sequence. If the break didn't surprise you, replaced the trigger with one that will. |
Will do. Thanks for all the help.

Update
The wife let me out to play for a few hours yesterday so I went and burned through about 50 rds. After much arguing with the rifle and body position, I can now consistently get 5-6 rounds in a one inch circle. After a few attempts, I got a lesson in mirages from the old timer that was playing lane safety at the range. Got me to slow down a little more and focus on position and relaxing behind the weapon. Thanks Dusty and everyone else for the help. Going back out this weekend to put some more down range.

He is there every time I go. Its a gun club with large coffee pots so they spend lots of time there. Mostly laughing at retards that show up with a Bushmaster BA50 with an ACOG, PEQ-4, and one big ass surefire trying to use it on a 100 meter range. (This guy had WAY to much money) Then they turn their attention to the people like me. It's like shooting lessons for free.

One I've been waiting for.....
Just picked up my new Savage 110BA in 338 Lap... Put a Leatherwood M1200 on it and am ready to hit the range.. I've yet to put a bipod on it, and any suggestions are welcome....I like the Harris Bipods I use so, but will look at anything new or mo better...
I'll send Pics after the bipod is on... |
I used a $40 Blackhawk on my Axis and it works great plus it is easy to install. Picked it up at Academy.
