Sorry sir, I tried a full name search <Sgt. Javier Rodriguez-Torres>and it didn't show any results found. You have my apologies for the inconvenience.

Rod is an outstanding soldier and cook. He supported our team better than any other cook I've known in my admittedly short but active career. He did everything from manning the wall in response to direct fire attacks on our FB to going above and beyond in the preparation of holiday meals to remind us all of home while over there. I'm privileged to say I worked along side Rod and would happily do so again.

I am certain that this young soldier is at the top of his CMF and is deserving of his awards.....excellent.
One thing I've always appreciated about the guys on my team, Company, Bn and Group is the way they took care of, encouraged and mentored ALL soldiers we were associated with.
Always had the support troops volunteering to go with ODA's/Co's for this reason...it was always a team effort.
You just gotta love a good soldier...God bless him.

I would have to agree.. Any soldier that meets the standards should be awarded the appropriate medal.

We have mechanics roll out with us al the time. They man 240's to do just about anything a Tab guy does. Now some suck and some still come over to the Team Room and hang out for beers with ODA members on the weekend.

SF Leadership read citations and ask.. WHY or WTF he is a XYZ. Remove the MOS and read the Award citation.

Great Job SGT!!
