Laparoscopy....kind of feels like getting stabbed! Oh, that's exactly what it is, so now you have a great story to tell at a party that you survived 4 stab wounds!!
Welcome back, let your body guide the recovery and listen to all of that really smart surgical advice your surgeon tells you.....LOL

LOL...yeah that's it, I have a story...I got stabbed. :D It feels like I did about 1 million stomach crunches. But I have 5 wounds, not 4. Not sure why. I do plan to lay low the rest of the week and possibly the beginning of next. Taking it day by day, but I'm enjoying all the extra nap time. :lifter

Thanks! Actually I found that to be more painful at first (laying in bed). But today I am able to get up and down from both the couch and the bed with minimal pain, so this is good progress.

My big excursion of the day was walking to the back of my apartment building to take out a small bag of trash. I'm living large. :D

Thanks JJ, appreciate your wishes and kisses!

Too bad no one listened to me when I told them I seem to be allergic to various surgical tapes, I have some big hives on my neck (they inserted a central line and sutured, stapled AND taped it...OMG) and also on my tummy to hold the gauze in place over the points of insertion.

Thankfully half doses of the pain med is keeping me relatively comfortable and not too zombie-like. I save the full dosage for bedtime. :D

I'm glad that the surgery went well. You've been in my thoughts and prayers.

If you're couch bound, you have a great opportunity to catch up with Chicago's lost treasure: Jerry Springer. (Note the lack of pink.:p)

Thanks gents! J, I don't even want to imagine what open surgery would have been like.

Today the pain is about a 2 on a scale of 1-10, haven't felt a need to take a pain pill. :lifter
