I just found this

* Have a GT score of 110 or higher for E-1 to E-3 and a GT score of 100 for E-4 to E-6

off of this site. http://www.training.sfahq.com/qualifications.htm

Is that the most up to date information on qualifications for 18x's? Reason I as is I am currently a E5 so even if I had to take a rank deduction I would still be a E4 and according to that my GT score is qualifying because I have a 101. I just wanted to double check this information.

I was able to get in touch with a local recruiter today. He is supposed to fwd me some information in email.

the asvab, don't look for a short cut.

nevermind my last post. I remembered my score incorrectly when I was reading on that site. I have a GT of 101 so I'll be retaking it once our schedule allows me to attend the asvab prep class and take the test.

Have you received any recent info about reenlisting with the 18x contract.

I am Navy as well although reserves with a tour in Afghanistan. Looking to transfer to active duty Army with the 18x contract in January 2011 after I finish my B.A. I realize its a while away but I'm trying to gain as much knowledge and insight as I can now. I've heard conflicting information regarding prior service and 18x contracts, although after reading every forum on every website yours seems to be the most positive.
