Pics a little dark to see detail, looks like nice tight pattern design.

Put your digital (or dial) calipers on a single thickness of the leather in the belt loop, what is the thickness? Gun guys should have something to measure with.

thats a bill maynard sheath. They do come out pretty thick since they have 5 layers of stacked leather. the only issue I have ever had with one of his sheaths is the knife actually cut into the retaining strap when drawing it out. (knife was sharp :), a bit of contact cement and it was good as new ;))
