Mr. Harsey, I believe the tanto blades made by you and the late Mr Bob Lum are less angular, and a far superior design to most of the generic tantos one normally sees everywhere. Exquisite piece of work. |

There is no definition of a particular blade shape or point type and I have seen and handled many Japanese tantos from modern to 700 years before present. None of these had the abrupt chisel point that has become popular. |
