RIP

Go as a Pilgrim, and seek out danger

Far from the comfort and the well light avenues of life

Pit your very soul against the unknown

And seek stimulation in the company of the brave

Experience cold and hunger, heat and thirst

And survive to see another challenge and another dawn

Only then will you be at peace with yourself

And to be able to know and to say

I looked down on the farthest side of the mountain

And fulfilled and understanding all and truly content

That I lived a life that was of my own choice

We are the pilgrims' master

We shall go always a little further

It may be beyond the last blue mountain barred with snow

Across that angry or that glimmering sea

Rest In Peace Warrior

Condolences to the family of this brave warrior. Our enemies believe it is a weakness that we value so highly the lost of each of our men. However, I am not ashamed to say that they and their brothers are precious to us and we are humbled at their sacrifices. They risk so much for very little gold and silver which makes their courage and valiant actions so remarkable and special.

I would also like to offer comfort and prayers related to the other soldiers or soldier who were severely wounded in this engagement. For the brave soldier who died there is no more sorrows, no more tears. For the brothers and wounded left behind, there are formidable challenges ahead; they face them as mere mortals, in a world void of grace. Our only respite is that there is a power much bigger than ourselves that sees all and accounts for each heroic action. We can only offer humble and heart felt encouragement as we view their actions from the sidelines with bated breath. Our only solace is the fervent hope that our leaders will be imitative in their plans and our soldiers will have the strength and opportunity to exact a terrible retribution on our enemies.

Rest in peace.

I keep all of you, the present generation of warriors stepping up next to the plate of these fine who have gone before you, in my prayers, even if you see no posts from me.
